11月29日，福宁重工为霞浦县闽投深海开发有限责任公司建造的80米深海养殖平台（MW912-1）顺利开工。霞浦县闽投深海开发有限责任公司、福建省闽投深海养殖装备租赁有限责任公司、福船集团和福宁重工等相关领导出席，共同见证项目开工。 
该项目的养殖水体约3万立方，总长82 米、船体长度76米，平台宽度32米，设计拖航吃水2米，作业吃水13米，风暴吃水11米、适用水深在20米到50米海域的水产养殖。该项目的建造是福宁重工主动融入福建省发展海洋经济战略大局的具体实践，对推进福建船政创新转型发展具有重要意义。
